A Good Summer Read

I’m writing this Lifestyle Letter shortly after having a ‘conversation’ about summer reading assignments with a rising fourth-grader who happens to live in my house.

Franklin-based Nissan North America recently granted nearly $300,000 to worthy causes throughout Middle Tennessee. The Nissan Foundation contributed $280,000 or 40 percent of it’s $700,000 total - to seven organizations, while the Nissan Scholarship Program awarded renewable academic scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $3,750 annually to six college-bound high school seniors in Middle Tennessee.
