Williamson Medical Center has recently been recognized with a number of prestigious national and regional awards for outstanding patient safety and medical quality.
CareChex, a division of Comparion, has named Williamson Medical Center among the top 100 hospitals for medical excellence in overall surgical care and top 10 percent in the nation, region and state for patient safety in overall hospital care. Local Pilates Studio Owner Releases New Book
Erin Myers, scoliosis advocate and owner of Brentwood’s Spiral Spine Pilates studio, has released her newest book, Analyzing Scoliosis: The Pilates Instructor’s Guide to Scoliosis, a comprehensive guide to analyzing and working with clients with scoliosis. In its first week of release, Analyzing Scoliosis debuted as the “No. 1 New Release” in the Pilates category on Amazon. This effort marks Erin’s third self-published book related to scoliosis management. Diagnosed as a teenager, Erin’s perspective on living with scoliosis has shaped her teaching philosophy, which is to enrich people’s lives through anatomically correct movement.
Parks Department Announces First Mountain Biking Trail System
Construction will begin soon on the City of Franklin’s first mountain biking trail system in Cool Springs. In November, the city entered into an agreement with Gateway Mosby Cool Springs, LLC (Mosby Cool Springs Apartments) to build and maintain a mountain bike trail system on approximately 4.72 acres of beautiful, mature wooded hilltop area on property known as the Standard at Cool Springs subdivision. Mosby Cool Springs, owned and developed by Middleburg, will fund a portion of trail design, construction and engineering, maintenance and utilities and water.
