Being a wife, mom and running a business are all in a Good Day’s work.
You know it’s been a ‘good day’ whenever you can enjoy a glorious autumn evening in Middle Tennessee, especially when it’s in an outdoor living space that you created. Lori Sesler of Franklin knows that feeling. The mother of two has been putting her creative talents to good use for three years as the sole proprietor of Good Day Gifts, her online crafts shop. When it comes to repurposing scrap materials, this Real Wife delivers the goods!
“My husband and I spent the last four months working in our backyard to build a deck, patio and fire pit area by ourselves. This project was no small feat but completed with the help of many borrowed tools. We enjoy roasting marshmallows, drinking wine and having nice meals in our backyard with friends and family.”
“I have a passion for turning the old and useless into something new and beautiful. I started Good Day Gifts to make custom signs and home decor from reclaimed wood. Since then, my business has taken over our garage with the addition of many new tools – including a bandsaw that I received as a Christmas gift!”
“Currently, I do several craft shows throughout the year in addition to advertising online and by word-of-mouth. I love creating with my hands and making custom projects in collaboration with clients. It is such a joy to see each of my pieces end up in just the right home.”
